Shave and a haircut, downtown
In the grand scheme of things, Vancouver is a fairly young city. At only 125 years old, the city has a rich history based on natural beauty and the spirit of its pioneers. Although there are only a few traces of the old world left in the busting downtown core, there are still businesses where you can recapture the nostalgic feeling of days gone by. Farzad’s Barbershop is 0ne of those places.
There are many unique hair salons around Vancouver, but few can compare to the nostalgic feel of Farzad’s Barbershop. The decor is old world, and with high leather back chairs and black and white tile on the floor, you feel transported back to the time when men would spend a big part of their day socializing in the Barber’s chair.

Farzad's Barbershop
The services are simple; straight razor shaves and men’s haircuts. Farzad’s is one of the few places that still provides hot towel shaves, and if you choose the Royal Treatments, you will be treated to a head and neck massage as well. With only two chairs, Farzad’s is one of the busiest spots in YaleTown.
You can check out Farzad’s Barbershop at 126 – 1208 Homer Street, or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
